Do your own research.

Point of order - in the future, if you make the claim - you put forth the link to back it up.  Don't tell other people to post your homework for you.  If you can't or are unwilling to do that, don't make the claim in the first place.

Now, I see that you've made an attempt at it last night - three days after being asked for a link by a moderator.   But neither of these actually prove your assertions.  The Opindia link points to a 1998 60 Minutes interview that mentions Soros was a 14-year old boy in 1944 whose father split up the family and bribed a corrupt government official who did the Nazi's bidding in Hungary to pose as George's Christian godfather to keep the boy from being shipped off to Nazi concentration camps.  It seems a gross mischaracterization to make Soros out to be some monster under those circumstances - a 14-year old boy trying to escape Nazi persecution, away from his family and wholly dependent upon a corrupt government official living up to his end of a bribe.

The other link doesn't say offer any proof at all.  It merely repeats your claims.  Saying something multiple times doesn't make it more true.

Your response is totally predictable. Only your links are valid. No links that provide dissenting conclusions are allowed. Heaven forbid somebody actually believe something you don't like. FYI I don't read this forum every day so I won't be commenting or responding on your timeline.  The 60 min interview clearly proves he did aid the nazis and steal from the jews. And when given a second chance as an adult to apologize or at least admit he had pause later in life for what he had done, he refused to do so. No remorse, not sorry. That is pure evil. Sure he donates billions to causes, but they are all leftist communist socialist one world government atheist Godless causes. Sounds like he is right up your alley.  You must be so proud. Yeah I get it you don't like it when your heros are exposed for their corruption.

No, you halfwit.  Anyone's links are fine.  What the links actually say (or don't say) is what matters and these links don't make the case for your assertions.  Learn the ******* difference.

Good to know.  In the future if you can't abide by basic forum rules we'll just remove the posts and deal with it later then.

The 60 Minutes interview does no such thing.  It says exactly what I just told you it did:

[it tells the story of] a 14-year old boy in 1944 whose father split up the family and bribed a corrupt government official who did the Nazi's bidding in Hungary to pose as George's Christian godfather to keep the boy from being shipped off to Nazi concentration camps.  It seems a gross mischaracterization to make Soros out to be some monster under those circumstances - a 14-year old boy trying to escape Nazi persecution, away from his family and wholly dependent upon a corrupt government official living up to his end of a bribe.

You bend over backwards to give folks on your side every benefit of the doubt yet insist on only the most cynical, harshest reading of this rare and traumatic experience of a young teenaged boy living in abject fear of being discovered or betrayed every second of every day.  That's not realistic.  Or even remotely human.

He doesn't feel like he needs to apologize for something he wasn't culpable for.  At best it could have been phrased more delicately, but I wouldn't expect an apology from someone in his circumstances either.

You have the critical thinking skills of a gnat.  LMAO at Soros being one of my heroes.  I bet me and him disagree on at least 90% of his causes if not upwards of 99%.  I have almost nothing in common with him.

Stop talking and retain some semblance of a reputation.

What a unique thought! Perhaps this should carry over into some of the "apologize for being a straight white male" CRT classes.

None and I won't have any. If I find I've wandered into one of those anti-American meetings I'll simply walk out.

So, you're speaking from your normal starting point - shear ignorance. :-\

And, let's not forget the shear stupidity:  ""apologize for being a straight white male" CRT classes."

You are even more poorly informed than I had imagined. Study up on the CRT nonsense.

Since you brought ignorance up, in your above post you twice misused the word shear. Next time, look up sheer before you type and you won't appear to be quite so stupid.

Says the forum idiot......

No doubt you have some good references to "study up" on the CRT nonsense.

And speaking of looking up things, look up ignorant.  It doesn't mean you are stupid, it means you are uninformed. You don't know what CRT is and where and how it's being taught. You are just lapping up the propaganda.

(Sorry about the misspelling though. Spelling is not a strength of mine - just as critical thinking is a "fail" for you.)

So sorry for your circumstance. I recommend getting a TV and watching Fox News. Then you'll be well informed.

Fox News Channel remains not just the most trusted among cable news networks but all of television news, and by a convincing plurality, despite scandals like the massive Dominion lawsuit against the ratings giant.

Fox News is the top on TV in the most recent YouGov data on news sources, with 41% saying that it is the channel they “most trust for news.” The network, which boasts the biggest audience in all of cable news, has long been found to be “most trusted” by pollsters.

That is close to double each of the second and third most trusted, ABC and CNN, which came in at 24% and 22% respectively, and more than twice that of MSNBC, at 18%.

The latest data from YouGov also shows that Fox News overall made a “positive” impression on more respondents (23%) than MSNBC (22%), but came in three points below CNN (26%).

Fox News is the most watched, with 39%, followed by ABC News at 33% and CNN at 30%. CBS was least watched with a low of just 4%.

Fox News is the subject of intense criticism across the rest of media, and the revelations made public as part of the Dominion lawsuit have been a major scandal in the world of news, given they showed the extent to which Fox hosts and executives embraced former President Donald Trump’s dubious election claims on air despite privately admitting those claims were false.

However, that has not had much impact on public opinion, according to the latest poll, and it has not affected the ratings, where Fox News continues to dominate.

For the week of April 3-9, Fox was the top cable network in total day and primetime, and continues to beat CNN and MSNBC in daily ratings in both total viewers and demo viewers.

Find all of YouGov’s trackers and opinion surveys here. The March 26th survey was not a commissioned study.
