Social Review: Auburn recruiting targets flood Twitter during big visit week

Auburn just had a strong week of recruiting. If the endless recruiting updates throughout the week weren’t enough to prove that, many of the prospects who visited took to social media about their visits.

The week after Auburn coaches took a small spring break, they came back with several visits scheduled for top targets. Auburn tight ends coach went in-depth about how the staff, under Hugh Freeze, have been challenging recruits to visit campus, no matter where they’re from.

Monday/Wednesday visitors (March 13 & 15)

Three-star DB target Jameer Grimsleyfrom Tampa Catholic (Fla.) visited Auburn Monday.

The nation’s No. 1 interior offensive lineman according to On3, Casey Poe, made the trip to Auburn from Lindale (Tex.) on Monday. The Tigers seem to have knocked the visit out of the park. Poe is also a top target of Auburn quarterback commit Walker White.

The No. 1 player in the state of Mississippi, Kamarion Franklin, visited Auburn on Monday and stayed overnight for a second part of the visit on Tuesday.

Top-50 overall player in the 2025 class, Jarcoby Hopson made it to Auburn with his teammate, Franklin, on Monday. He had a strong visit as well.

Three-star tight end Dillon Hipp from Scottsdale (Ari.) Desert Mountain visited Auburn on Monday.

Four-star edge target Justin Greene from Lawrenceville (Ga.) Mountain View visited Auburn on Wednesday. He had another good trip to Auburn and remains a top option at edge/Jack linebacker.

Auburn offered 3-star Mississippi athlete PJ Woodland as a defensive back on Wednesday during his visit.

Four-star Alabama wide receiver commit Perry Thompson from Foley (Ala.) visited Auburn on Wednesday. He had some interesting words after the visit.

Five-star+ safety KJ Bolden from Buford (Ga.) had an overnight trip to Auburn from Thursday to Friday. He had a big visit and bumped into White while there as well.
