Mix, Aromashadu, Irons...

And that goes for everyone else too. Bammer's D has been notorious for getting/making/ what ever/ the big turn over and giving their crappy offense one more chance, or simply scoring on its own.

I don't care what the line is, what bulletin board material gets posted, or what the 'gurus' are proclaiming about who's gonna win on Saturday.

Protect the ball, and win the game.

Am I the only one hoping they fumble more?????:rolleyes:

When you run as hard as Irons does you are gonna lose a few fumbles a year. I'll take the 200 yd. games and the multiple touchdowns and keep my mouth shut. Thats just me though.

Devin had a firm grip on the ball and was running 100 mph when the defender got a perfect hit on the ball and knocked it loose. No huge fault at all there.

Mix made a helluva play to make the catch and was never able to firmly secure the ball because of it.

Take the huge win and be happy and quit whining about stupid stuff. UGA was a wide open offensive game and it led to several turnovers by both teams because of it. Get over it!!! JMO.

What 88 said.

Raptor is a doom and gloomer at times, although not of the magnitude as PowerI and Aubie7. I believe he only predicted a 4-7 season in the wake of the loss that was Georgia Tech.

Ok, maybe he is of the magnitude as those other two...

Actually, our offense has done a good job of taking care of the ball this season.

DO was victimized by the `Derrick johnson' punch just like in the Dallas/Philly game) anyone notice the same play happened??

I've yet to see Kenny wrap the ball up with both hands once!

Needs to change or he's liable to drop one inside our own 20!!

Should be not be a little concerned that Courtney Taylor dropped a first down on the play before?

For the record that particular pass would have been a UNBELIEVABLE catch for Taylor to make. The ball was led a little too much and he dove trying to catch it. IMO

when kenny fumbled that ball, my first thought was "i don't think i've ever seen him do that before."

seriously, i can't think of a single other fumble of his. stat, any idea? i'm sure there have been others, but not many, esp. considering how many carries he's gotten.

top to bottom, we might be the most talented we've ever been at the ball carrier positions... right now, and maybe even moreso the couple of next years. older board members will know better than i, though.

this staff and these players are writing a very special chapter in the history of this program, and i'd hate to think down the road that i spent these years worried about the _very few_ bad things going on. it's hard for me to think about the things these guys have done wrong when i have spent so much time in awe of the things they do right.

WDE. Beat Bama.

How could Devin not have fumbled? That's not for me to say, just DON'T do it! As John Heisman once said , ' ...it is better to have died a small boy than to fumble this football '. My POINT was that we can't give away anything cheap to this team. Doom and gloom? I've seen too many games slip away when a meaningless fumble led to the opponent scoring and subsequently come back in a game which was all but over. ( vs Florida in '86, vs Georgia in '94, etc... )

I predicted Auburn to finish 7-4 after the GTech loss. I also predicted GTech would finish at 7-4.

Courtney let a ball that was a tad high ( but not for him ) get away and fall incomplete. I don't care who makes the play, as long as they finish.
