BCS Bowl

I know CTT was calling out to the voters about voting us up there for the BCS bowl after the game, but how likely is it though? We're ranked 13 currently, how likely that we can jump 5 spots to at least #8 to be BCS bowl eligible?

After two weeks of beating Top 10 teams, AU will move up in the polls. Add to that, a loss by Miami, to none other than GEORGIA TECH, and AU's strength of schedule will bump up a few notches this week.

But will they make it to a BCS bowl? I think they will need some help.

Our best bet for a BCS bowel is thru the SEC championship game. Hey, GaTech beat Miami. But a trip to play WV in the Sugar would not necessarily be the best bowl. Some of the possible match ups in other "Jan 1" bowls would allow for much better exposure on a larger scene. Really, outside of WV and AL how many people would be watching the Sugar? But AU and Ohio State? Much more appealing.

BTW - if we did pull off a BCS other than the Sugar -- I WANT NOTRE DAME>
