Back to the original thread topic: Is there any chance that Lout (that was a typo, but I decided to leave it) returns next year or does Desmond Howard (who I find credible and well spoken, as opposed to Lou) take his place full time in the studio?

Oh, how I pine for Trev...

If this is not our land, are you a trespassing?

I married a Native AMERICAN.

So, is this your land, not ours? I married a Peruvian; can I have Peru? How many nations can you name that have not obtained their lands by means of fighting? I don't agree with what happened to the Native Americans either, just like I don't agree with these 1/20th of native American blood operating casinos for millions of dollars because their great grandmother's second cousin twice removed brother-in-laws sister was Native American.

That's my good pointy-headed-elitist-shameful liberal.  Blame America first.  America's terriblie.  We kill everbody.  We do no good.  Blah.  Blah.

Good Point,

The only problem is what they taught you at Auburn weren’t necessarily what happened. Those misguided Puritans that were self-proclaim Christians, slaughtered millions of Native Americans long before our government started its massacres. War, in and of itself, is evil; and anyone or body of people who supports war is evil. Therefore, the extension of the British government, you call America, or the United States of America, is evil. War is permeated into the mindset of the individual through negative reinforcement (fear). Moreover, the desensitization of everyone who supports war is reflective in the cultural meltdown we call the demoralization of our social fabric.

Guys, guys, I can understand a thread hijack, but at least keep it in the ballpark.

Any more discussion about Americanism, Native or otherwise, without at least some credible reference to Lou Holtz and/or Gameday and this thread gets locked.

Take it over to the Political Forum and hash this out.

Something else, if it weren't for that evil imperialization, you would have never met your wife. Surely some good has come from it. Can any good come from evil?

PS. Lou Holtz is a moron.

You are correct. And I'm glad we didn't hire Lou Holtz to coach Auburn. I bet it would have ended up like the UAT fiasco.

Agreed. What we did to those people was something that ranks, in my opinion, right under the holocaust and Rwandan genocide. I agree that war is ugly and should, like Lou Holtz, be avoided at all costs. But sometimes, passivism is just as nasty. Plato once said," The only thing neccesary for evil to win is for good men to do nothing." I agree with him. But I also think that fighting for peace is like fornicating for celebacy. Why wasn't Holtz's mother celebate?

I have to admit that your last three posts have cracked me up, Ripper.

Who is more to blame for South Carolina's probation - Lou Holtz or George W. Bush?

Carry on.

I wasn't trying to challenge your authority, just trying to be creative, TM. In my opinion, South Carolina's probation falls at the feet of anyone with the last name Britt, especially those who either play or have played at UAT. As a matter of fact, I think most evils in this world can be attributed to them. I evil think the birth of Lou Holtz is somehow related to the Britt boys (had to get Holtz in).
