If The Dawgs can knock off LSU in the SECCG who will have the best record in the SEC? Well Auburn will have two losses, LSU will have two and UGA will have two. Auburn will have only one SEC loss to LSU. LSU will have two SEC losses to UGA and Tennessee(probably one of the worst UT teams in 20 years) and UGA will have two losses to Auburn and Florida. If you look at SEC losses Auburn will have the best SEC record but will not have the SEC rings. This almost sounds as bad as the BCS mess.

This is not about records. Its about getting to a championship game. The rules on how to get there are clear. That is how the SEC has decided, through its membership body, to declare the SEC Champion

FSU may beat VATech. If so they are the conference champion. It could happen in the SEC.

tarheel's right -- this ain't about records. The SECCG is about winning it on the field, unlike the BCS. Oh & btw, somehow you overlooked the fact that the bammies have 2 losses as well.

Can't claim and SEC Championship, but a UGA win would mean that every team in the SEC has atleast twice as many conference losses this season, as Auburn does in the last 2 seasons COMBINED.
