On Thursday, a message from al-Qa'ida leader Osama bin Laden was broadcast by Islamist media networks.

Of course, there was nothing clandestine about the latest message from Osama. It was intended for the American media and sounded as if it had been excerpted from recent anti-American rhetoric from Ted Kennedy, Harry Reid and other Demo-gogues.

Should al-Qa'ida obtain enough weapon-grade uranium to light up a U.S. urban center, hopefully the Demo's "concern the civil liberties" won't preclude the NSA from hearing about it.

"For partisan reasons, [Democrats] have not stepped up. The enemy has not gone away; they're still there, and I expect Congress to understand that we're still at war and [Democrats must] give us the tools necessary to win this war." — President George W. Bush, condemning Democrats for blocking a full reauthorization of the Patriot Act to serve a political agenda that has nothing to do with civil liberties

"Either we are serious about fighting this war on terror or we are not...al-Qa'ida wants to know." —Dick Cheney
