With Trey Blackmon getting a little hype in the way of CFN's Freshman All American Team, I thought it would be fun to see what people think here about how long it will take for this potential star to break into the starting lineup.

I think it will be the second game only because I think he will have to sit out the first for discipline reasons. If not for that I say he beats Merrill Johnson out of the starting job in practice, and is opening day starter.

Let's see he's basically battling with Sears, Evans, and Johnson, primarily Johnson. Considering Johnson was hurt for part of spring, wasn't he running with 1st team?? If he's not suspended the first game, which he more than likely will, then he will be in there the second game. I still think we will see LB by committee b/t Dede, Herring, Sears, Johnson, Evans, and Blackmon. Johnson and Evans are not bad at all!!!!

Blackmon has/is receiving his punishment. He will play in the 1st game.
