WE DIDN’T MEAN IT: Since a clandestine meeting was held in November of 2003 by Auburn officials with a possible replacement for Coach Tommy Tuberville, he has won 19 of the past 20 SEC games, including last week’s 7-3 showdown victory over LSU.

Three years ago, as Auburn was 7-5 entering its Nov. 22 game against Alabama, former school president William F. Walker and other school representatives secretly met with Louisville coach Bobby Petrino. When details of the meeting became public and put egg on Auburn’s face, Walker issued an apology and chose to retain Tuberbville.

Tuberville could have walked away, and rightfully so. Instead, he stuck around and has crafted one of the most remarkable runs of success in recent SEC history.

The stuff about UGA D was on the news here in ATL last night the broadcaster said "UGAs defense has some people saying 1980", WHO THE HELL HAVE THEY PLAYED??? Oh yeah NO ONE!!! Until UGA plays someone with a decent team they can't talk to me about how good thier D is.
