Time to face facts. Intel was cherry picked and

Only it wasn't the President who is guitly of these deeds. It's the NYT. Yep, the NYTs mislead us in telling us only what intel they wanted to, and gave us a false impression of what really is happening in Iraq. And it appears this leak was all about pollitics too. This report was released to members of Congress and the Senate back in April, before the killing of al Zarqawi. It also said that US efforts have seriously damaged the al Qaeda infrastructure.

So, when ever folks talked about cherry picked intel or the public being LIED to, we should know it's the NYT that's being talked about, and not the President.

That story was politically choreographed to do the most damage.

The WH has to counteract it before Friday PM though or lose the weekend.

There's another report that hasn't been release that is more critical of the war in Iraq and it's detriment to the war on terror.

· Quarter million Iraqis flee sectarian violence - A quarter of a million Iraqis have fled their homes and registered as refugees in the past seven months, data released on Thursday showed, amid an upsurge in violence that has accompanied the Ramadan holy month.

· U.S. troops see rise in Afghan attacks - American troops on Afghanistan's eastern frontier have seen a tripling of attacks since a truce between the Pakistani army and pro-Taliban tribesmen that was supposed to stop cross-border raids by militants, a U.S. military officer said Wednesday.

· 40 tortured bodies found in Baghdad - All the victims showed signs of torture, police Lt. Thayer Mahmoud said. They were dumped in several neighborhoods in both eastern and western Baghdad, he said.

TVNL Comment: Who's better off without Saddam? Who's safer without Saddam?

· Heralded Iraq Police Academy a 'Disaster' - A $75 million project to build the largest police academy in Iraq has been so grossly mismanaged that the campus now poses health risks to recruits and might need to be partially demolished, U.S. investigators have found.

· Military Officials Add to U.S. Criticism of Iraq’s Government - Senior American military officials are warning that time is growing short for Iraq to root out militias inside and outside the government and purge ministries of corrupt officials who are diverting large sums of money to their own political parties.

· New Poll Says Majority of Iraqis Approve of Attacks on U.S. Forces - Six in 10 Iraqis approve of attacks on U.S.-led forces, up from fewer than half in an earlier PIPA poll in January. Nearly eight in 10 say the U.S. presence in Iraq is provoking more conflict than it's preventing (as opposed to being "a stabilizing force.")

I guess now the far right will blame the Iraq's for the destabilizaion of a sovereign nation. Bushco is Dead Wrong! Everyone knows but the few and the dead. More cheap-labor coming to America in the form of refugees, just like Vietnam.

So now you are saying that you and the tin foil hat brigade have access to unreleased NSA reports.

Once again you need to be reminded to provide links to the BS you post.
