He called a holding penalty against us. We decided to take matters into our hands.

And we still lost

You know, Slink, it hasn't been a very good week for us. The Saints got waxed 41-10. Your Bulldogs lost. My Tigers lost.

I think your Stewie signature depicts how I feel right now.

it think the internet as a whole can expect to see this picture quite often now, like after any loss that can be blamed on refs.

Isn't that just a chain gang guy?

I mean, that SEC poncho is used by the guys holding the down markers and poles.

If he wasn't a chaing gang guy before, it looks like he's well on his way to working on the chain gang now.

Wasn't that the SEC ref that actually knows the rules and has 20/20 vision? Oh yeah, that makes him the lone ranger. The other refs probably set him up.

Saw on TV last night that the guy got arrested for stalking. This is the second time, same woman. Broke some kind of probation agreement. So they knew where to find him come game time. Seems like they could have arrested little Elian at the post office......

For those of you who haven't figured out how to hit a link:

Athens-Clarke police arrested a sideline assistant at Sanford Stadium at the end of the Georgia-South Carolina game Saturday on a felony stalking charge.

Police arrested Roger Swain, 52, about 9:30 p.m. on an outstanding warrant charging the Eatonton man with aggravated stalking.

An independent contractor hired Swain and about six other temporary workers for the University of Georgia Athletic Association to hold ball markers, move first-down chains and other sideline jobs, said athletic association spokesman Claude Felton.

Swain used his job in 2006 to meet a woman who told police that Swain repeatedly called her without her permission, said Capt. Clarence Holeman, of the Athens-Clarke police Criminal Investigations Division.

Police last year issued an arrest warrant for stalking - a misdemeanor - and Putnam County sheriff's deputies jailed Swain, said Russell Blenk, Putnam County's chief deputy sheriff.

Swain was convicted of the charge, but violated his probation earlier this year by trying to call the woman several times again, Holeman said.

When a convicted stalker violates probation by contacting the victim again, police upgrade the stalking charge to aggravated stalking - a felony.

Athens-Clarke police knew Swain worked the Bulldogs games and had worked with both UGA police and the Putnam County sheriff to find him, Assistant Chief Alan Brown said.

Who was he stalking that he could have met thru a ref job? Richts wife? Its nice to know they go hire joe schmoe off the street to do the jobs on the sideline. And you'd at least think they would let him give the SEC ref smock thing back. Prob one of those cops has it displayed proudly in his home now.
