Any discussion of Auburn & Bama MNCs would be incomplete w/out a reference to the number of seasons each has w/out a loss.

Bama: 10, Auburn: 8.

Huge difference there. Back in the day it was who could bully the bowl establishment the most to get into the "championship" game (Delaney, Bryant, Hayes or the Notre Dame coach de jour). Bahr just knew how to ride the media too. Getting Broadway Joe out of media-rich PA for example, wasn't a coincidence.

Compare # of seasons w/out a loss for other schools w/ multiple football MNC's. FSU: 2, Miami: 3, Univ. of Minn.: 1 (4 MNCs), etc., etc.

Even w/ 8 seasons w/out a loss, Auburn has never had the opportunity to even PLAY for a MNC. Let me repeat that. Even w/ 8 undefeated seasons Auburn has never had the opportunity to even PLAY for a MNC.

Hard to spin that injustice too many ways.

Adding to this even further....In the years that auburn and uat have played each other, Auburn has 7 undefeated seasons, and uat has 4....
