DJ Hall to....

The Prowler

Recommended Posts

Somebody needs to find that post from BG. Wasn't he confident DJ Hall would be drafted no LATER than the 2nd round? Weren't the Bama receivers supposed to be the best in the SEC?

I'd find it, but nah.

We're at pick 191 and no Bammer's yet. Good times. Good times.

But the good times are over. In four years, all 32 picks of the NFL Draft's first round will be the 32 Bama signees of 2008.

Nope, they'll all leave early and compete for the top pick. Owners will go crazy because they still know they'll get top pick potential at pick 32. Rain will start falling up, cats will start loving dogs, and Flavor Flav will finally overdose on reality television shows.

they just said it outloud on national tv. "We've had a draftee from Wheaton and Mount Union and we haven't had anyone from Alabama." I love it.

Edit- We can now add Gardner Webb to the humiliation

I guess this proves that Mike Shula was running the program into the ground.......

...except during Shula's tenure, Bama had 16 players drafted.

Mike Shula's worst NFL Draft with Bama: 2007 with three players.

Nick Saban's worst NFL Draft with Bama: 2008 with zero.

Add Washburn University to the list.

and St. Augistine's. Plus the myriad directional schools. And two from App. St. The list goes on.

Hall's attitude is probably what's going to land him as a free agent. He could be a perfectly capable NFL receiver, but he's also got the makings to be a much less talented Terrell Owens. If he shapes up, he could have a pretty good career in front of him.

"We have had players taken from Wheaton and Mt. Union in this draft (basically Every Team in the country at every level, even one that didn't go to school)...and none from Alabama."

AHHHHAHAHAHAHAHA..

Coach $, should've been Coach of the year last year...he took 2/3 possible first day draft picks and turned them into not even being picked....LMFAO.

Now, I wonder how Coach $ will use this on the Recruiting Trail.

You can be sure other coaches sure will use this......."you know, you go to Alabama, and you won't be drafted. But if that doesn't matter to you......."

Maybe the NFL doesn't want players with Saban's fingerprints anymore.

That explains why six LSU players were taken, huh?

I guess Mr. Hat has had enough time to bring them up properly.

Yeah, I'm sure they didn't need any coaching for the last three years. They could've declared for the draft as Redshirt Freshmen and Sophomores, since Saban 'cruited them, right? <_<

Who was his competition this past year?

Just because the nail hates the hammer doesn't make him competitive.
