Help with avatar

Can someone explain how to get an avatar to come up? I went to the screen for it and put in the url address. Will it be better to upload the picture from my computer? Any help is greatly appreciated.

TWo things immediately come to mind. 1.) URL was typed incorrectly. It has to be exact....caps and everything. 2.) what you want to use for an avatar may be too big??

DT, the link to your pic is either wrong, or there is a priviledges problem on the server. If you can email me the image or an up to date link, I should be able to fix your avatar......
