FYI

Alabama Adventure plans to hire as many as 1,000 workers for seasonal employment.

The theme park is holding a job fair from 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. Feb. 28 at its Bessemer administrative office. Alabama Adventure has lifeguard, food service and guest services openings.

Last May, Alabama Adventure sold to Oklahoma company Adrenaline Family Entertainment Inc., which is made up of former Six Flags executives, for an undisclosed amount.

Adrenaline bought the theme park, formerly VisionLand, from Southland Entertainment LLC, which acquired it out of bankruptcy for $5.25 million in 2003.
