BOWL Bids announced this week?

Does anyone know if the SEC office will announce the bowl bids this week? With Bama and UF going to BCS games there is really no point in waiting till next week.

The SEC office does not announce the bowls. It's the bowls and teams themselves.

I read somewhere today that Nutt announced that Ole Miss will be heading to the Cotton Bowl. That means that LSU is more than certain a lock for the Capitol One (which was pretty obvious). I believe you'll see the majority of bowls being announced this week.

Just read that the outback is expected to announce this afternoon, and reports are coming from Tennessee that it's not going to be them
