It would be hard to have a better weekend than the one junior Auburn centerfielder Trent Mummey just finished.

Sunday, he hit two home runs for the second consecutive day. He hit a run-scoring single and made the most spectacular catch I've seen, not just this season but in many seasons. Saturday, one of his home runs was a grand slam. He made big-time play in that game, too, running a flyball down and catching it against the fence. Mummey is having one terrific year. Just think it would have been like for him and his team if he hadn't missed 28 games with a high ankle sprain. ...
