He cancelled two fund raisers and some other public campaign events. He might keep a couple of private meetings and he's not going to pull any ads. At any rate, it's a nice move. Still ain't voting for him though!

Well, it really makes sense for him to do it when you think about it. Bush is going to be very involved in the state funeral for Reagan I imagine. If Kerry hit the trail hard and started going into attack mode, it probably would hurt him more than it would help because people would see it as opportunism...hitting Bush when he's not in a place or situation that's appropriate to fight back. Plus it would just seem a little gauche to not take a breather during a time of national mourning.
