OLB Clarence Jackson Update

Running back / linebacker Clarence Jackson of North Clayton (College Park, Ga.) has picked Mississippi over Tennessee.

The 6-foot-1, 220-pound prospect also considered Kentucky, Auburn, North Carolina State and East Carolina.

Jackson was recruited by the Rebels primarily as a running back after rushing for more than 1,800 yards and 32 touchdowns as a junior. He also recorded 15 quarterback sacks.

Mississippi now has two pledges, including East Mississippi Community College quarterback Randall Mackey.
