3-3 headed to the bottom of the third, Ump gifted arkansas all three runs in the third inning. He's got an open strike zone on strikes 1 and 2, but clamps down TIGHT on strike 3. He is calling it both ways though, but Daniel got robbed of 2Ks and a clean inning because of an insanely tight zone on strike 3.

Hopped out to a 3-0 lead and then Arkansas gets a gift from the home plate ump for 3 runs! Davis hit the middle of the plate about 3 times for strike 3 on two outs. 3-3, let's go Tigers!

Should add that arkansas' starting pitcher made it 1.1 innings. Was pitching strikes but auburn was batting well and getting hits and he got the quick yank. Reliever came in and got 2k's and has set down 5/6 since entering.

Arkansas is hitting daniel hard too, including a two run home run they've had some solid base hits and solid outs. Would be surprised if daniel makes it past the fifth inning.

This AU pitching change has backfired spectacularly. Two walks, followed by a passed ball. Runners on 2nd and 3rd, no outs.

It really was. Moving to his left, knocked it down, didn't get in too big a hurry, and made the play just in time. Great defense.

Umps call a balk (right call) as the pitcher was coming set. He started to put his hand in his glove and then stopped and then went back to his glove. Arky protests because the ump called time, but it was clearly after the balk. Umps conference, and the call is upheld. Runners at second and third, 1 out.

Decker wasted a good chance to score a run. Ball was in the dirt on strike three, if he takes off Ingram should be able to take home if he gets enough of a lead.
