Former Auburn staffer rejoining Tigers in off-field role

A former member of the Auburn staff is returning to the Tigers.

Auburn is hiring Kenny Ingram in an off-field role, a source confirmed to AL.com. It's unclear as of Monday afternoon what Ingram's title will be.

The hiring was first reported by Auburn Undercover.

 

Ingram spent the last two seasons as Cincinnati's defensive tackles coach after serving as Auburn's director of player development in 2013 and 2014.

Ingram was previously Gus Malzahn's defensive line coach at Arkansas State in 2012 after stints as an assistant coach at Memphis (2006-09) and Tennessee State (2005).

Malzahn said last week that he hopes to fill the two administrative openings on Auburn's staff by the end of this week.
