On to the final. Extremely satisfied with tonight's performance.

I can't think of a single player that didn't play at least a good game, if not a very good game.

was an all around good game.  Considering CR played a back 5, it was hard to do much in front of the box.

great game all around.  Would love for Mexico to lose ... just cuz

I would love to crush the Reggae boys for knocking us out last time.

Mexico and Jamaica about to get underway. Drew 0-0 in the group stage. Hopefully a better game this time around.

Andre Blake is incredible between the sticks for Jamaica.

Jamaica breaks through in the 88th minute off a free kick!

And Jamaica moves on. Pretty thrilling for a game that looked like it might end up scoreless in regulation and have to be resolved on PKs.

Also poetic, considering the Reggae boys knocked us out in the semifinal last time. Nice to see the same happen to our rival. Now let's go get some payback.

We need to be focused playing this Jamaica team, what they lack in discipline they make up for in counterattacks. Blake 3rd best keeper in CONCACAF too IMHO (after Howard & - despite his current unpopularity - Guzan). Bradley has had the best back to back national team games in 2 years and Morris looks hungry. I simply do not understand why our defensive pool continues to lack talent. In the last 20 years we've produced fabulous keepers, forwards and midfielders but other than Eddie Pope (2002), nothing on defense. Sure our defenders can go forward & score goals but that's Brazil's chronic problem too - goal scoring defenders that can't play defense (huge exception being David Luiz of course). Gonzo at least has height and gives 100% but he's a trainwreck back there. We will never be better than a consistent second round World Cup team (which is still pretty darn good) until our defense catches up to the rest of the team.

I was at that match. Even worse, Mexico was playing right after us and the Dome was already halfway full with their fans when our match ended. Yes. Payback.

Andre Blake is hurt after our first good attack of the game. It doesn't look good.

Altidore rips a shot from 25ish yards. Blake saves but spills it for a rebound. Acosta and Blake arrive at the rebound simultaneously, and Blake's hand is injured.

Backup keeper Dwayne Miller on in the 23rd.

I only hope Blake's injury isn't serious. He's been a breakout player in this tournament.

Mattocks goes in the book.

Acosta goes in moments later. Harsh card there.

JOZY OFF A FK FROM 35 IN THE 45TH IN OFF THE BOTTOM OF THE BAR!

1-0 right before the half!

Halftime.

This is trouble for Jamaica. They're a team that prefers to park the bus and for good reason. They get scorched when they try to go punch for punch.

If this game opens up we could make this a 4-0 or 5-0 score in a hurry.

Opposing teams are getting very used to fouling Nagbe. He's so good that he gives you very few options.

Jamaica with a stunning equalizer off the corner in the 50th. Morris lost his mark on Watson.

Nagbe has pushed into the middle with Bradley.

Villafaña's cross finds Arriola but his header finds Miller. Still 1-1 64th.
