Already a big fan of Dirk but if he went to AU...So he was drafted in 1998 right? Does that mean he would've been starting in front of Chris Porter???????

Doc Robinson / Scotty Pohlman / Bryant Smith (or slide CP4 to the SF?) / Dirk / Mamadou? Uh, yeah that teams goes past the sweet 16. Maybe put Dirk at some unique-at-the-time stretch 5, bring Mamadou off the bench and keep Porter at the 4?

Either way that would've been a hell of a lineup

Charles said this a while ago - there was a video of him saying he tried to get someone to pay him to go to AU too. At this point doesn't matter and interesting story.

I remember him telling him he would pay his way to auburn. Which is probably not permissible but I don’t think he was buying him for auburn. Barkley saw the talent early.
