Softball vs Missouri - Game 1

Auburn loses to Missouri 2-1 in 9 innings. Auburn struck out 17 times and only had 1 hit after the 4th inning. Every batter, except Tissier in her one pinch hit, struck out at least one time. Justus Perry had the only run with a solo homer in the 4th.

No hitting and no contact this time. Tough game.

Tougher to lose it in extra innings on an error.

Auburn made 0 adjustments to the Missouri starter. They were never able to figure her out and barrel up the ball. Godwin and Garcia, our 4 & 5 hitters, struck out 6 times out of 6 times. Shelby pitched an amazing game especially since this Mizzou offense is as powerful as it is. There's no way we hold them to only 2 runs the rest of the next 2 games so our offense is going to have to figure it out fast if they don't want to start SEC play 0-6...
