Know what this is?

Does anyone know what this is a partial list of? I have the answer but I want to see what you think.

*Develop the illusion that total disarmament by the US would be a demonstration of “moral strength.”

*Use technical decisions of the courts to weaken basic American institutions, by claiming their activities violate civil rights.

*Eliminate all laws governing obscenity by calling them “censorship” and a violation of free speech and free press.

*Breakdown cultural standards of morality by promoting pornography, and obscenity in books, magazines, motion pictures, radio, and TV.

*Present homosexuality, degeneracy, and promiscuity as “normal, natural, and healthy.”

*Infiltrate the churches and replace revealed religion with “social” religion. Discredit the Bible and emphasize the need for intellectual maturity, which does not need a “religious crutch.”

*Eliminate prayer or any phrase of religious expression in the schools on the grounds that it violates the principles of “separation of church and state.”

*Discredit the family as an institution. Encourage promiscuity and easy divorce.

Almost sounds like the strategy of the United Methodist Church (no offense Methodists...but the HQ of the UMC has been infiltrated by liberals with no regard for Scripture).

The Soviet Union's plan to tear the US apart from the inside out?

But, now, I would bet this is Osama's ultimate goal, helped unknowingly(?) by the Democratic Party.

I gotta go with Jenny on this one. If its not the ACLU creed then it is at the least what they have been trying to accopmlish over the years.

These are the Communist's Goals according to Congressional Records from, I believe, 1963 to bring down the United States.

The reason I bring this up is not that I think the Commies are trying to take over. I bring these up because all of these are or have been hot topics in the last few years.

In the news just Yesterday.

*Eliminate all laws governing obscenity by calling them “censorship” and a violation of free speech and free press.

On this board right now.

*Infiltrate the churches and replace revealed religion with “social” religion. Discredit the Bible and emphasize the need for intellectual maturity, which does not need a “religious crutch.”

Actually saw someone on this board use the "crutch" thing when referring to religion.

*Use technical decisions of the courts to weaken basic American institutions, by claiming their activities violate civil rights.

Seems like this is in the news everyday.

The list goes on. I find it interesting that goals of another party to bring down the US from within are being used by the left everyday, of coarse they tell you it is for the good of the whole! :bs:

And everyone says Nikita Khrushchev was wrong when he said, "We will defeat you from within! We don't need a war, you will destroy yourself from within!"

Maybe he wasn't so wrong afterall.

I may not have his exact quote correct, but that is essentially it.

Try not to wrap all "methodists" in with that. ;) You did mention UMC and that was good. When asked, I tell others I am a Christian and then only mention the type of church I attend when probed for more info. I know alot of UMC members and churches that are not exacly thrilled with the UMC organization and refuse to follow the more liberal views. Luckily I go to an independent methodist chuch, which is one of the original members of the Association of Independent Methodists. Each church in AIM is responsible for it's own and chooses its own pastor. Churces donate money to AIM to help missionaries and build new churches. AIM in turn provides ministers to member churches that have a need for a pastor and they church votes if it wants any of the pastors sent or wants to continue looking elswhere. The pastor of an AIM church does not have to be an "approved and properly educated" pastor by AIM. AIM has liscensed ministers that are not pastors (like my father), but are used for "pulpit supply" if a church's pastor is going to be out on a Sunday or looking for a revival minister. To me, this is the way the Lord's Church should be. Not some organization playing God and telling churches what they need to do.

Back on subject, if my political/military history brain is working correctly, I believe Krueschev was the one that mandated that doctrine into the communist manifesto. It does stop and make you think about some certain organizations agenda now doesn't it?

Yeah, I was trying to be clear that I'm talking about the headquarters...the higher-ups in the UMC. There are many, many United Methodist members who know better and are trying to pull things back to a Biblical perspective, but it's like swimming against the tide. Fraser UMC in Montgomery is a prime example of a solid, Biblical UMC church trying to stand against the heretical current.
