I know how bama fans are and the media who are fans are just as bad. do u really think there were "bama media" ppl there actually heckling this high school kid tho? i mean i know we are auburn fans/alumni and don't like bama because they are our rivals, but they are just normal ppl too. i doubt there were normal ppl at the kid's press conference "harrassing" him. that sounds like a bit of a stretch. it's the bama fans that never set foot on that campus nor ever graduated high school that u have to worry about. but, i doubt a whole truck load of them showed up to the kid's announcement to heckle him. Were they not aware that AU was recruiting their son? Haven't any of our coaches made at least one in-home visit with Cyrus and meet the family? People thought he could make his own decision-guess not. I'm from out of state and we visited Auburn last year. There is NO way I would have flown my daughter there by herself to check out the school. It is a HUGE decision for these kids, and I think the parents should have been there. If for some reason they couldn't go, I understand that, but then he shouldn't have announced today and waited until they could visit. What is going on here?!? As soon as AU gets someone UAT wanted, BAM...they all of the sudden have second thoughts? I am not one for conspiracy theories, but something's just not jiving. I don't understand these parents. I live in Auburn. I love Auburn football. I bleed orange and blue. But if either one of my daughters ever decided to go to the turd school, I would fully support her 100% and never let her second guess her decision. This is a big decision. If his parents want to visit Auburn, that is great they will fall in love with Auburn and he will sign just a few days later. The parents being unhappy about it doesn't make much sense since he said at the announcment that he talked with his family last night about it. They suddenly had a problem with it today.
