Auburn has never had a great history of good uniform designs. UnderArmour has had issues with creating a GOOD looking uniform. BUT they got it right this time!! Couldn't find a good picture that had the design fully in a flash) These are what the team wore prior to this set, around 2005-06 or so- http://i439.photobuc...etball-juke.jpg Chris Porter, one of the greatest AU basketball players, actually wore (atleast) two different sets. They were only taking head photoshots and possibly a team shot, which means they only wear their white uniforms. We really need to just see more. Josh and Alan Payne have tweeted pictures, but they dont show a lot of the details. Just gotta wait and see... Barbee also didn't buy into Under Armour at first because he thought he could get us changed to Nike and because of that it has set the program back a couple years. I know CTB has spoken out against UA (just heard via word-of-mouth, but would love a link ) and I've just been wondering if thats due to brand recognition (with recruits ) or due to it being inferior equipment. My personal opinion is that Under Armour makes decent uniforms and crap shoes. Anyone who's played sports at a high level knows that if your shoes are uncomfortable or ill-fitting it's going to put you at a disadvantage. We've been hearing (and seeing ) for years now that our football players HATE the UA shoes. It's great being Under Armour's "prized mule " but not at the expense of our athletics.
