2014 3* JUCO ATH Jeremy Liggins (Ole Miss signee)

He is a 270 pounds dual threat quarterback. Did our coaches ever consider this guy? If I am not mistaken he was highly recruited by LSU and Auburn in 2011.

He commited to LSU last year and failed to qualify so he is now in JUCO at Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College.

Correction: he signed up for JUCO and never went. He is now at Ole Miss trying to again qualify. They will probably try to use him as a TE or DT...if they can get him qualified

Not a QB.

Currently has thrown for over 1,300 yards with 12 touchdowns and has rushed for 612 yards and 16 more scores.

Helped to Lafayette to back-to-back state championships in 2010 and 2011 and a 32-0 record for those two seasons.

That's his old profile...he didn't play last year. See my updated post above.

I agree Metafour, he's athletic for a big man, but not a QB. TE or DT likely.

Correct

I thought he announced in Oxford. I recall someone did, and it wasn't for the Rebel Bears.

You are correct. Doing it in Jackson would have been almost as damning though.

I was in law school at Ole Miss when that happened. He announced on a local radio show from a bar on the square. Apparently the LSU announcement brought a few crickets...........................
