To be honest, have no idea if my phone does apps.

Would I have to arrange for my phone to listen to the radio? while I'm driving? Sounds all kind'a scary.

You would need to press one icon on your phone, and then press a big button on the screen once the app opens. The app will do the rest. You don't really have to hold your phone up to the radio or anything like that. It's pretty slick.

As long as there is still such a thing as college radio, I will keep listening to terrestrial radio. And discovering new things that way.

Thanks, and sorry for the slow response (I was out landscaping, listening to NPR All Thing Considered on my Sonos ‘til my pruning-saw-on-a-stick and my old self gave out almost simultaneously).

See? He can be taught, but it’s

a

slow,

tedious,

process.

FWIW, I also resented when my professors switched from (approximately) “Them newfangled TI calculators are cheating!” to “I can assume you’ve all got calculators, so I feel free to put more questions on the tests, and to demand greater precision on each.”

I’ve come to confess a sin. About 6 months ago, I bought my me and my wife tickets to a Foo Fighter’s concert. I got caught up in the concert hype of the moment. The concert is going on right now. I’m currently sitting in my recliner watching tv, not at the ear piercing concert two hours away. I tried to get rid of my tickets, but even that effort was half hearted. It’s almost like I wanted to punish myself for buying the dang things to begin with.

I’ll take my lashings. I feel better now for confessing my musical sins.

No sin in my opinion...........actually think they pretty awesome.............and I am all things metal?

Oh, I’m a fan of them as well. I guess my confession was more about buying the tickets and then not going.

Metal? I cut my teeth on 80’s metal. Metallica, Anthrax, AC/DC...mmmm....

For me it started with Motley Crue's Shout at the Devil. Stuck with them and picked up the occasional Ozzie, Poison, Dokken, etc. along the way. Then discovered the Sex Pistols and went straight punk/hardvore/thrash metal- 7 Seconds, Bad Brains, Fear, Suicidal Tendencies, DRI, MOD/SOD... Metallica was a little too melodic for me at first but I obviously came to my senses. They peaked with Justice imo right around the same time that GnR was hitting with Appetite and for me there was nowhere left to go. Peak metal had been achieved. Well, except Pantera.

Haven't yet put my finger on it, but I am just really getting into GHOST lately.   This is a new track released about 2 weeks ago.      RATS....  I really like their sound a lot.

Weegs told on the football board that he asked to be banned from the political board. I saw that long ago.

Poison was always catching criticism..........watched them open for David Lee Roth 1987, they were awesome...........David Lee Roth was so loud, the next morning at Mass, I could barley here our Priest.......later in 87 I read where young lady was suing DLR for hearing damage...........my ears rang for almost 3 days.........good times?

Loudest concert I  ever attended....AC/DC Blow Up Your Video tour in 1988 in Jackson, MS. I think I lost hearing that night.

I saw that tour. Poison opening for DLR. my first concert ever. I can still see Roth sailing over the crowd on a giant surf board.

In 1982, my first time on floor general admission was to see Van Halen.............soon as auditorium went black, everyone rushed the stage.........felt like a cement mixer sitting on my chest..........couldnt breathe till about halfway through "Sinners Swing" second song..........drenched in sweat and pretty sure I was suffering from a contact high.......great times!!!!!!!!!

Yep, Poli ban. Can only get away with making an ass of yourself in an argument with the admin before the hammer comes down.
