Starting to gather your a (Gulf Coast) neighbor? When the MS Coast Coliseum first opened, I was disappointed in the sound (echoey). Back then, Mobile's was better, but it was because of the thick asbestos plaster on the dome (which sort's flurried down on the audience when the music was loud; Zappa made a blizzard in there). I assume they're more on a par after the plaster removal, but I just don't get to Biloxi often anymore.

AUld fAUx@ 2,584
Sorry I missed the conversation last night, and my time on this thread has convinced me that I'm a bit ignorant as to does and does not constitute "Metal," but do the guys at least fit into the period of y'all's heyday? Amazed how they could fill a huge space with just three of them (and, of course, a few amps). 2 1

The more traditional approach is grilled artichoke, with lemon butter and a dry white, while Ravel's Bolero plays in the background.

AUld fAUx@ 2,584
TGI the week's ~done. I'll soon run out of favorites from these guys to post w./o repeating. I post this "live recording" (jumbo shrimp, in a sense) version, despite the crowd noise, 'cause I like the guests sitting in the horn section: Be safe out there. 1
