I wish him luck. He certainly developed into a big ole good looking athlete but was never really all that productive and it is obvious after yesterday our defensive coaches are headed in a different direction with the front. Sometimes you just have to be honest with yourself.

So as a rising senior he, the coaches or both see Cowart, Kennion & co. as being immovable depth chart forces, and/or the true frosh incoming talent as trumping President's experience, and/or Lawson and/or Holland moving to full time DE from Buck and/or Lambert being the only DE sr as okay? Serious question and no, I don't see "so he can start somewhere" as the obvious single answer.

What's your hint? His leaving does not increase our annual limit of 25 at all, if that's what you're thinking. His leaving makes no difference in recruiting numbers.

i think by announcing on NSD, it gives the prospective teams he may be going to, a chance to recruit another position of need.
