TD Moultry Back

God Cam It

Word on the street is Caleb Johnson and Romello Height were not at Tiger Walk leading to believe that they were actually dismissed. Dylan Brooks might get some PT for the first time.

Wouldn't Moultry being back offset the loss of height? I've heard Johnson was the one in the most trouble

I must ask, what is the reason for your user name, which very much crosses the border on taking God's name in vain?

It's very offensive, and I'm not a person who gets offended easily.

Nope. Post better

Shockingly, there are more than a few Auburn fans, grads, etc. that don't believe in a deity.

You speak the truth selias.  My hope is that all of us will one day believe that there is an amazing God almighty, and we will all be in a relationship with Him .   We will all come to know that He came, was crucified dead and on the third day He rose again.   He did this because He loves us.   All of us.   He especially loves the ones who do not currently believe in Him, and He desperately seeks a relationship with each and every one of them.

I'll say this and then probably walk away. Discussions on religion rarely end well in a text format and I'd rather not get banned.

I have the exact opposite desire. I hope one day that humanity educates themselves out of the necessity of needing a religious crutch. There are some pieces of various religions that are worth keeping (charity, kindness, hospitality, etc.) but, XYZ religion doesn't hold a monopoly on those ideals.

I was raised Episcopal and was an acolyte from ages 10-18. I only kept attending after ~16 because...well, I lived with my parents until I left for Auburn and they made the rules. I gradually went from a teenage agnostic to a middle aged atheist.

I find the various major religious texts rather interesting but, only as a window into the oral history/tradition of the time period. While I do find those stories somewhat interesting, I don't believe in the Jesus resurrection story any more than I believe Muhammad was escorted to a heaven by an archangel.

Be well and War Eagle

Selias, thank-you for taking the time to respond and for keeping the discussion very civil...  You are obviously bright...   What do you believe -- as it relates to creation?  Do you believe some being created things as complicated as the human body and as simple as Trichoplax?

People I am a believer but this is the TD Moultry thread. If we want a discussion on religion please open a new thread outside of the football thread. I would like to thank the people on both sides of the religion talk in this thread for being civil.

as a christian why did you call him out on the board instead of private messaging him?  you might have made a friend instead of probably losing one?  your statement caused others to ridicule him and i have yet to meet anyone who enjoys that kind of thing.and before you say it is none of my business you posted it in public so it is fair game. and i do not say any of this mean spirited i just wanted you to see a different angle. just my thoughts. have a good day and rejoice in your knowing the lord.

Not sure why this is really that shocking.  About a quarter of the US doesn't believe in any formal religion and that mix is only getting bigger.

Not arguing religion, just stating facts

come on man. he made the statement and people laughed and yes i understand that is what people do but it could have been handled better. it elicited a response and bird had to step in. i just brought it up because titan is trying to clean up arguments and asked for that type of thing to be handled privately. sorry man i am not tryng to be a richard here.

I'd already decided to ignore ya, fifty! 😉 In other words, I didn't take it as worth either of us overthinking it. BTW, appreciate your regular posts of articles.

WRT to the post that started all this, I thought it was very civil. The screen name for the poster in question has bothered me for sometime as well, and I am surprised it was allowed on the board.

It is one thing to be offended by factual things like historical facts, where no offense was meant, it is something else entirely to find something offensive that was clearly intended to be "edgy" and provocative, which this posters' screen name was.

With that, I'll end my responses to this discussion line unless someone really tries to drag me back into it.

PM’s probably work for all of us when it is a personal issue, question or statement. Thx for the wisdom and guidance.

If some of you guys are offended over a screen name, you might want to stay off the internet.

To keep this back on Moultry. So glad to have him back. Don't know how much he played but I know of at least one where he forced Corral out of the pocket and then Zakoby was there to get the sack.
