What's your predictions for the CFB season?

Give me those predictions for this upcoming season. What do you think is gonna happen this year, Good or bad let me have them. 

 

Auburn beats somebody we aren't supposed too. (Alabama or Georgia).

Vandy wins atleast 8 games this year.

Texas Am will fall flat again this season. 

Georgia doesn't win the East. I think Kentucky or Tennessee wins it. 

TJ will be ok to good at QB nothing great but not bad either. 

USC West still has a losing season. 

Either Oregon or Washington win the Pac-12 

OSU is still overated this year and won't win the Big Ten. Michigan or Penn State win it. 

Nebraska bounces back after that loss though and will have a winning season again. 

 

 

 

 

We can look back on this thread at the end of the season and see who was correct or close to correct or just flat out wrong.

Last year was our first losing season since 2012

 

i decided to go back and look at both of our last two losing seasons 

 

2008 5-7 

followed up by an 8 win season in 09

and a championship season in 2010

 

2012 3-9

followed up by a championship season in 2013

 

if you go by those statistics this will either be an 8 win season followed by a championship season in 23 or 24

 

or it will be a championship season this year

 

only difference is everyone pretty much knew we were going to be good in 09, 10 and 13 but the question was how good 

 

this year it’s hard to tell if we will be good or worse

I could see it being atleast similar to 09 

 

maybe going out on a huge limb but if we are undefeated heading into Athens I don’t see us losing that game

The DC switch makes a difference and Ohio State runs away with the Big Ten

Oregon wins at least 10 games but "Bad Bo" shows up in at least one and costs them the PAC-12 title

Alabama wins the West and the SEC but loses a second straight title game

The winner of UGA-Tennessee takes the East

Auburn finishes 9-3 but finally takes a road game from Bama or Georgia

A&M finishes 8-4 but looks bad enough doing so that Aggieland boosters start getting nervous

Big difference…09 and 13 had new coaching staffs.

Let’s go back to 98…Tubs first year saw a serious rebuilding effort (way worse than what Hars walked into) and had a losing 1st season attributed largely to QB injury.  His second year he got us to the SECCG…BUT he did that by recruiting his ass off and getting immediate game changers (Rudi, DE help, etc).  
 

I’d love to see a similar turn around, but right now the recruiting is lagging way behind.

Not sure how you pull ole miss, KY or arky as warm seats. Are have their programs headed in the correct direction, are liked by their fans and are most importantly winning. 

Especially arky. Theyve been down for so long and Pittman is doing work. Especially considering his win total should be +2 from us the mast 2 years. 

He may fail eventually, but he has at least 2 bad seasons before then.

I believe Arkansas has the needed coaching (if they hang on to their coordinators), just need recruiting, much like AU.

Yep we got our asses handed to us by Florida twice that season classic tubs 

 

i will hand it to Tubs he may have had a reputation of laying eggs in games against Georgia, Georgia tech, arky, etc but he owned bama when he was here prior to 2008 his record against them was 7-2 as Auburn HC with only losses being 99 and 01

Bo Nix has a great year with the Ducks.  He’ll put up good numbers against the pac 12 defenses and Oregon will make the playoffs.

Miami will win the ACC 

Scott Frost gets fired and Harsin bolts to Nebraska.

Out of curiosity and not to argue. Why do you think USC east will come in 2nd in the east?

I have been and am still really high on Beamer. The only truly dominant force in the East is UGA. If it's wide open, I like Beamer to lead them there.

Ok cool makes sense. I think Kentucky or Florida will do it before SC does atleast this year. I think Shane has a couple more years before he gets them really going but I do agree that he will get them going, I think they will play spoiler this year though on a few teams. Just like us.

They also did really well in the portal this past cycle, so I think they have upgraded the talent a bit quicker.  I sure wish ADAG would've listen to my suggestion on SB.
