don't mean to be picky, but it's Tony Richardson. He played on the 93 team.

175998

You are correct...sorry for the mistype...he was a fullback and did not get too many carries if I recall.

I just looked his bio up on the Chiefs website...

Racked up 162 carries for 715 yards and nine TDs during four seasons at Auburn… Grabbed 44 passes for 395 yards and two TDs as a senior … Started 10 games as a junior, rushing 34 times for 137 yards … Played in every game as a sophomore with one start, gaining 92 yards on 27 carries … Started seven games as a true freshman in ‘90, carrying the ball 43 times for 237 yards (5.8 avg.) and four TDs … Graduated from Auburn with a degree in Education in August of 2000 and received his MBA from Webster University in May of 2004.

Tony Richardson was signed by Pat Dye. I think he's a Dothan native and had surprisingly good speed, better than the tailback if I remember correctly. Showed up good in camp but not on the recruiting list I saw. Dye did a heckva good job at getting sleepers, much like Tubby.

:au: I believe Tony Richardson was a true freshman in 1990.  I don't think he stayed all four years.  :au:

175999

You're correct, he started as a TF in 1990 and played all four years through 1993.

Just to throw in a little controversy, do you include the rookie with the Giants? In my opinion Brandon earned enough playing time and yards to at least be considered in this list, if only to "pad our stats"...

Tony graduated from Daleville High School in Daleville, Alabama. Daleville is the home of Fort Rucker. I'm not sure if he was a military kid though. He was a pro bowler a couple of years ago. Not only is he a good player, he's a good Christian man.

Of those nine currently on NFL rosters, 4 have been Pro-Bowlers within the last 3 years and 2 more will be in the next 3 years! WDE! :au:

Second question down, I brought up this issue about Brandon on CFN. I don't agree with AU fans still being obsessed with the BCS; still pissed maybe, but not obsessed...

ASK CFN

Are you sure all those arena players are current?

I don't follow Arena Football but Lamar Rodgers would be 37 or 38, seems strange he'd still be playing.

And wouldn't we all know if Eric Ramsey were still playing?

not to mention, Rodney Garner has been coaching for a LOT of years now. Lamar would be about 36. I think he was a freshman when I was a redshirt Soph. Craig has been coaching also.
