Arrest in death of HS Cheerleader in Edna Texas

The young woman was found murdered in her and her mother's apartment.  The police have now arrested a suspect.  He is in the country illegally -- the Edna Police Chief's written statement says so.    ABC has written an article about the arrest.  It references the chief's statement.   Yet, it fails to note that the suspect is illegally in the country.   Instead it says "details of the arrest are not known."   We cannot rely on the media to provide us with basic facts if the facts are inconvenient for their political leanings.  It is sad.

You don't think that there are other details that are important to know?  Did he live here for any length of time?  Did they know each other before she was killed?  Did he sneak across the river and climb a fence at night, last night, or was he brought here with his parents at 3 years of age?  There are a lot of details that we should know.  Unfortunately, we have a lot of violence in this country.  I don't know of anyone that thinks we should not reform the immigration system.  Regardless of what we do, there will be people that come into the country and don't leave when they are supposed to.  There are a couple hundred thousand people that drive legally from Mexico, into the U.S. to work and back to their home in Mexico every day.

The Brit newspapers are much better at getting these details.  Raefel Romero was arrested on Sunday by Texas Rangers.  He is an illegal allien.
