ESPN would love to show Auburn’s spring game but Auburn’s doing its own thing for better or worse I'd like to see what alternative is better than having the game streaming and on ESPN/SECN for anyone who chooses to watch it at their leisure. Exposure is pretty high up on the scale when a program is working tirelessly to market their brand and sell their vision for the football program. And so far as I can see, there's still crickets from the Administration on this decision. lol

Good point. Then why would WE discourage game coverage?

Only Auburn & Vanderbilt games aren't live. With all the "insiders" on this board that know and hear things from daily practices, one would think they'd be able to shed some light on the Spring game situation. You got to pay for that insight buddy !
cbo 7,979
Apparently the game will be televised.

Mikey 16,777
Being shown on SEC+ isn't free TV. This snub/slight/evil plan/stupid decision has yet to be explained. AU and Vandy are the only two teams in this situation. The question of WHY? still hasn't been answered.
ertrader 206
At least according to ESPN, all SEC schools (including UGA) spring games will be on SEC+ except for Alabama which is on ESPN https://espnpressroom.com/us/press-releases/2024/03/full-slate-of-college-football-spring-games-and-pro-days-featured-across-espn-platforms/

Well saban will probably be on hand to help with analysis. Of course he’s still the head coach just doesn’t have that title. He will be holding DeBoer’s hand this year. ”did he say gap?!”
