They let the Outdoor Channel pick up the NHL contract..

Actually as much as I miss watching hockey on ESPN, they go this one right. The NHL lost fans by the bucketful last year and ESPN wasn't going to make the money they paid for the rights to show the games. Not ESPNs fault this time.

Actually, I lost interest in ESPN when they began showing Scrabble tournaments, hot dog eating contests, and poker(since when has a card game become a sport). They could use that time to show more women's sports and I always wondered why you rarely see any regular season college baseball.
