Of all people to gripe and whine about media influence

The Trojans are headed to the Rose Bowl, but Pete Carroll isn't happy.

ESPN's Chris Mortensen reported Sunday the USC coach is privately protesting that the media is influencing Reggie Bush's decision to turn pro. Carroll is telling NFL scouts that Bush will make the move if he is assured of being the top pick in April's draft.

Saturday, Bush ran for 260 yards and two touchdowns in the top-ranked Trojans' 66-19 victory over No. 11 UCLA. When asked about Bush going to the NFL, his stepfather, LaMar Griffin, told ABC after the game: "It's time to take it to the next level."

The Trojans (12-0) will play for the national title against No. 2 Texas (12-0) on Jan. 4.

Looks to me like its his stepfather influencing that decesion.

But I do have to laugh at Carroll complaining about the media, its been nothing but kind to him and USC for the past 3 years.

You know why he's sad... he's losing his 2 (by far) best players and may actually have to coach next year instead of standing there and giggling at how silly the Pac-10 is.
