i might have to put some money on Hawaii to cover

Arkansas covering isn't a bad bet either IMO-it's at Arkansas and they return 20 starters and USC lost it's whole backfield-25.5 is alot of points

As much as I hate to say it, I pick Washington State and Hawaii to cover those spreads. With our recent struggles in openers agains OOC opponents from BCS conferences, I think a 19.5 spread is a little high. I also think that Bama will stumble out of the blocks, especially if they have Hall out of the game, which looks possible at this point. I think the Rainbow Warriors have a good shot not just to cover, but to pull off the upset.

Yeah, my first reaction is, that to put up enough points to cover that spread, you have to throw the ball effectively. I just can't see that in the first game with all of those inexperienced receivers.

On the other hand...if Irons runs wild and Trott catches a few unexpected deep balls...who knows? :)

I'm not making any stance on these being valid. Its extremely early for something like this to be coming out, so take that into consideration when thinking about the spreads listed here...

Keep in mind the lines are only that high because of how early it is... They should come back down to earth as the season approaches.

I agree with a few others...IF these are legit spreads, they are just to get some early action going. As soon as people start betting on these, the spreads will go way down.

Too many people will take the points for these spreads to stay where they are.

Spreads are always way high early to get people to spend money, Then they are lowered significantly towards game time. Haven't you guys ever gambled before? :$: :big:

I have seen the lines but I can't seem to get my hands on them right now. Here is one link that gives you the odds futures for winning the BCS.

I will keep looking for the actual lines.
