I find this statement funny because if any Bama fan gets in an argument about football it always ends with, "Well we got 12 National Chumpionships and Turdition!".

I’m with you 100% on this. Anytime I’ve gotten into a discussion with a bammer fan it always comes back to the 12 national championships. Don’t get me wrong, they should be proud of their history. However don’t use it as a crutch. I’m a big Steelers fan and never once have I ever used their 4 Super Bowl wins as an excuse. (Make that 5 now.) What the team accomplished in 1974, 1975, 1978, and 1979 has nothing to do with the current season. I don’t even remember the first 3. ( I was born the year they won their first championship.)
