Temple reaches deal for four games with UConnTemple football has reached a four-game scheduling agreement with Connecticut, the Owls announced yesterday.

Temple will play in Hartford in 2007 and 2013 and host UConn at Lincoln Financial Field in 2008 and 2010.

The Owls previously announced regional agreements with Penn State, Army and Navy. Temple plays in State College this year on Nov. 11.

In other Temple football news, the team and first-year coach Al Golden will make the eighth annual Shore Tour to promote the upcoming season on Sunday.

From 10 to 11:45 a.m., the Owls will be at Cape May's Convention Hall (714 Beach Drive). From 12:30 to 2 p.m. they'll be at Ocean City's Music Pier (Moorlyn Terrace and the Boardwalk).

Promotional materials, prizes and autographs will be available.

The Owls open the season at Buffalo on Aug. 31. Their first game at Lincoln Financial Field is Sept. 9 against Louisville. Season tickets, beginning at $36, can be purchased by calling 215-204-8499 or visiting www.owlsports.com. Individual-game tickets go on sale Aug. 4 through Ticketmaster.
