they "look" fast but not too big. Is their qb supposed to be good?

I thought the same thing. I wonder what the avg. weight is for an Auburn player compared to a WSU player.

Overall it looks like our O Line is heavier, but they are taller. They are taller any many positions.

We are pretty even D line as wise. We might have a bit of a weight advantage, but they are bigger in the LB position.

They have a very tall TE

Here’s how they line up against AU OL v WSU DL

AU WSU Differences

LT K. Dunlap (6-8, 318) DE. M. Bruce (6-6, 250) 2 inches and 68 lbs AU

"90' heat"....they call that hot in Washington???104 here!

Southern sports tonight, was talking about this very thing. WSU coaches are confident that the heat in washington will give them the edge. Because they can go out and practice longer and harder than Auburn because its not as humid. I just can't see the heat and humidity not at least affecting them some. My neighbor is from washington moved in around December, poor guy has been about to die all summer. Now he is not in as good shape as the WSU football team, but he is begging to get transferred back to washington so he can get out of the summer heat. He swears he hit satan with the shovel putting his mailbox in.

It's essentially a non-factor .. at night, riding first game emotions, neither team will fatigue much do to weather. Depth from hitting each other all night will be a factor and the young LB's have to mature in a hurry for AU.

This being a night game it is still gonna be humid but the heat won't be that much of a factor, well nothing that the teams aren't used to. With that being said don't take anything as an advantage and go out there and put their :moon: on the grass.

I heard the same thing about being able to practice longer. Correct me if I'm wrong but isn't there a rule about practice time. How can WSU practice longer? I myself believe that the heat and humidity will probably be a non factor.

The difference in weather between Western & Eastern Washington (Cascade Mtns dividing line) is night & day. Eastern is high desert area, hot & dry -- very hot & very dry. Don't be fooled into thinking SE temps & humidity are that much more difficult to train in. WSU players won't be affected by heat & humidity.

Yeah, I don't take too much stock in if these guys will be able to handle the weather. I'm sure they will be ready for 4 quarters. Personally, there’s only time I can think of when I watched a game and thought “man that team is hurting” and that was when MSU went to BYU. Even then, that was an altitude thing.
