Someone said that he picked Fresno State to upset Auburn in 1996, and that Auburn dominated them.

They also said that it was his first ever pick.

Is this correct??? I'm clueless on both.

i saw a sign about this at gameday yesterday. Its said

It wasn't his first ever pick. He did pick Fresno St. to win the game and won 62-0. I saw him on TV several years after the vs. Fresno St. game say that it was his worst pick ever.

Dye threw him out of a closed practice one day. Really pissed Corso off.

Sometime later, He picked Pacific to beat us. Pacific doesnt even play football anymore.

You are correct, David. In 1989, Corso picked the University of the Pacific Tigers to come in and upset . Auburn absolutely destroyed them 55-0.

It wasn't Fresno State that he picked against us.....it was Cal State Fullerton in 1990. won this one 38-17. Auburn didn't play Fresno State until 1996 when Tot was the coach. That was the 62-0 game.
