Economic Manipulation

Oh, yeah. I know about this guy. A pseudo-mystic who once worked as a functionary at a mid-level financial firm that (oh get this) ACTUALLY TRIED TO HELP PROMOTE AMERICAN ECONOMIC POLICY ABROAD.

In fact, here some of his other authoritative economic and political treatises:

Psychonavigation: Techniques for Travel Beyond Time,

Shapeshifting: Shamanic Techniques for Global and Personal Transformation

The World Is As You Dream It

The Stress-Free Habit

The Spirit of the Shuar

So, safe to say, this guy ain't exactly Milton Friedman. Heck, he isn't John Maynard Keynes. Good lord, he isn't even Karl Marx.

He's not even Maynard G. Krebs.

Both of you are obviously part of the problem we are going to solve.

That's the lamest riposte I've ever heard. I basically pointed out that this guy has authored any number of loopy tracts, thereby costing him any kind of credibility in a legitimate debate about American foreign and economic policy. BF, I always love how you just post any incoherent screed without any basis in facts, and then can't mount an effective rebuttal. Even TT provides a fun, free-wheeling debate. You just seem to be indiscriminate in whomever you offer up for the board's attention, even when they're obviously part of the lunatic fringe.

Pacifica Radio is an extreme left wing and anti-American organization. Citing anything from that bunch only demonstrates the shallowness of your thought process (if any).

It is obvious to me that anything that doesn't agree with the far-right wing agenda is automatically left-wing. Well, you guys are still the problem we are going to solve. Better get your duckies in a row.

You goning to be the first American dictator?

Pacifica radio IS left wing, extremely so. You may not be able to see it because you are in the ditch with them. From the ditch, the centerline looks extreme to you.

By we, do you mean you and Hugo?

Otter, it seems we have been identified by the little socialist guy as needing to be sent to the reeducation camps. AFTiger, I think you will be included as well.

You going to be the first American dictator?

Dubya is the first and last.

Infinite growth economies eventually fail, just as this one will. For us to, at gunpoint, dictate to other leaders how to government their countrymen is a bit out of line with the constitution, to me. Our way or else, is laughable to the man that has integrity. The Auburn Creed fails to address these issues, so it doesn't apply. Well, maybe it does:

I believe in honesty and truthfulness, without which I cannot win the respect and confidence of my fellow men.

I believe in obedience to law because it protects the rights of all.

I believe in my Country, because it is a land of freedom and because it is my own home, and that I can best serve that country by "doing justly, loving mercy, and walking humbly with my God."

Now, has your selected leader there, GWB, compromised any these?

I say, yes. All of them.

In His Own Words

Again, an incoherent rant. First you threaten revolution, then you back off. At least have the testicles to stick with one position, BF.

Let's see, a few posts, you threatened "Well, you guys are still the problem we are going to solve. Better get your duckies in a row." Or else what? Whatcha got planned?

First, I'm not right wing, at least to any reasonable man. I argue with lots of loopy far-right people on this board. At the same time, BF, you seem so divorced from reality that it beggars the imagination.

Maybe an illustration will help us understand why we need to invade Iran.

me-oil-xzz.gif

My God look at the oil in Iran.

It comes down to this. Are you in favor of the imperial US military controlling the remaining oil reserves or not?

Maybe we need a poll.

Iran open there on Oil Bourse to trade in euros. Now this upset the World Bank President Paul Wolfowitz (Neo-con). Now let's go further, if we invade Iran take their oil, what have we accomplished?

To quote you, do you know what effin humor is. He was making a joke. And I agree with him. It is easier to have a dictatorship. Just like it would be easier for me to track you down and shut your mouth by force. But instead, we attempt to respect each others opinions and have a civil democracy. However, things that threaten our democracy such as terrorism, must be met with force.

Yes, I saw the effin video, and I'm famliar with this guy. And the man is utterly divorced from reality.

All you have to do is look at the rest of his works to know that he's about as loopy as they come. I'm so sorry that you cannot actually argue economics or foreign policy. All you know how to do is shift from one fringe position to another. I'd actually take you more seriously if you could actually come up with credible sources for your wild-eyed accusations, not easily refutable screeds from the Daily Worker.
