Democrats support the troops

I just wasted 10 minutes at work looking at this web page, but he commentary is priceless. The best line has to be, and I will set it up for you since I do not know how to post pictures, when the Vietnam Vet bikers ventured across the street to simply look around where they ran into a pink clown with a goofy smile holding up a protest sign:

"Then they ventured into the Code Pink tent city, where they encountered the Code Pink spokes clown."

If the demographics of the two sides don't speak volumes, then I don't know what would make sense to these extreme leftist. They certainly do not speak for or represent most liberals I hope.

Use the link if you want a good look at the dems base.

TigerMike,

Please stop. You know as well as I do that there is probably not one person on this board who supports what the crazzies at Berkley did. I would love to be out front protesting against the Pink idiots if I could. What they have done is disgraceful and demeaning and hurtful. Please NEVER say that something like that is the democratic base. You know damn well that is not true and for you to say something like that is offensive and maddening beyond belief. Why you find the desire to say something like that is the type of thing that is splitting this country down the middle with Republicans and Democrats. I may be a liberal, I may be a democrat, and I may not be a fan of Bush but I for damn sure do not line up with those people an ounce more than you do. For all the arguing and debating we have done from democrats to republicans on this site that is by far the stupidest, most ridiculous thing you have every said. The article even said these people are communist and Maoist, not democrats. If you think these groups are the same as the democrats then you are much stupidier than I ever imagined. Ridiculous.

They are most certainly a part of the dims base. That is something you cannot spin away. What you are saying is you guys want their votes but don't want then to come out in public, in an election year. And you would appreciate it if I would not point out their "patriotism". But I think all people should be heard and seen. Not just the ones I believe in or agree with.

That was nice of you to say please. So I will say please show proof that they are not part of the dem base. The fact of the matter is you know damn well they are part of the far left that is pushing the dems at the current time. They are not the entire base but they are part of the base. For you to say differently is at best disingenuous and at the worse an out right lie. For you to make me the villain for showing what these fine people believe in is obscene.

For the record in the past week Hillary & Obama got a thumbs up from a communist dictator and Obama was "endorsed" by a Central American socialist.

How the chasm which exists between these nut cases and reality even forms is beyond me. I view them as being as out of touch as the Rev. Phelps crowd.

Sad.

No, I do not want their votes. I would be ashamed of them and in no way would want them to support my candidate in their heart or in public. So to the first part no I don't want their vote.

I also agree that all should be allowed to protest and so on, the part I did not like was not was you saying they were democrats when they are not. They are communist which is completely different from a democrat if you did not know. I am a democrat, but not a communist, see how that works?

Even if in the unlikely event that they would vote for a democrat you are trying to portray this as an average democrat or even a more liberal democrat, which they are neither. They are to the farthest of left(which does not mean democrat) and would not be considered by 99% of democrats to be part of the base.

You are extremely naive to believe there were no democrats in those demonstrations.

You had a chance to learn something and you were close but chose to ignore the truth and attack me. Can you prove there were no dems there? No you can't. Did I say it was all the dems? No I didn't. The point is that the dems and the communists were all marching together, as they do at a lot of protests. You don't want this to be exposed for what it is. Just like you didn't want anything said negatively about the Islamofacist terrorists of The Religion of Peace. You said "The article even said these people are communist and Maoist, not democrats." Well yes a lot of them are but not all of them. In fact the communists have been at the vanguard of the anti war movement for years. Most notable during the Viet Nam war and immediately after 9/11. But you can't stop there. Their ranks are always bolstered and increased by dems. Are you saying that the Code Pink ladies are not dems and that the dems have had nothing to do with them? How about Cindy Sheehan? Wasn't she in Code Pink as well or was her hijinks all her own doing?
