Tide's blue-chip football recruit appears headed for professional baseball

Playing football at Alabama is not a consideration right now for Crimson Tide signee Destin Hood.

It's becoming more and more apparent that Hood will sign a baseball contract with the Washington Nationals, who selected him in the second round of last week's Major League Baseball draft.

He is one of those 4 star recrutes that will never see a bama uniform.

You say that like we have had a ton of non-quals etc...ala AU last year.
