Bush, and many others, said that with the PATRIOT Act and the capture of Saddam Hussein the world is a safer place. Anthrax, and now Ricin, being sent to members of Congress don't instill a lot of confidence in the validity of either assertion. Maybe he's still getting his information from the Office of Special Planning.

They're too busy tapping into Democratic Senators computers and leaking the classified information to their friends in the conservative press to worry about using the PATRIOT ACT for what they claimed it was for.

I suppose having a good police force doesn't make us safer either since people still commit violent crime. Al, you're smarter than this. Your logic in this instance doesn't withstand even cursory examination.

We will only be safer when Weasly Clark is elected President, he is the one guaranteeing that we will not be attacked again...
