I know we've talked a lot about our downfield blocking and how essential it has been to our running game. The following link is a spot on breakdown of how that blocking happens in Malzahn's offense. They say that games are won in the trenches, but it wasn't until now that I truly realized how much Dr. Gustav asks of our offensive line. The speed that is required of them (especially pulling backside guards to cover playside linebackers on the hand sweep) is incredible.

As Oregon fans, we also have learned to appreciate great downfield blocking from both our line, our WRs, and even our QB.
