Interesting but it would have been more informative had he weighed size of an area according to how many fans the schools' teams have. The state of Alabama would have been shown as being much bigger than New York, for example, and most northeastern and far western states would have been shown as tiny.

Cool maps. I live in FL (Palm Beach area) and I know many more (3:1) UF fans than UM fans. According to both maps this area should be dominated by UM. I was raised in GA and I can safely say UGA dominates the Atlanta area compared to GT. Hell I think there are more Auburn fans in the ATL area than GT fans.
