Auburn has a commitment from kicker Cody Parkey (6-0, 200) of Jupiter, Fla.

As a junior, Parkey was 11-of-11 on PATs and 5-of-7 on field goals. He hit from 55, 52, 49, 45 and 32 yards. His two misses were blocked. Parkey kicks from the ground, although he could use a tee in high school.

As a two-step punter, he averaged 39.5 yards punting in 2008.

Parkey, a lifelong Auburn fan, also had offers from North Carolina, Miami, Florida and Tennessee. He was Class 6-A second-team All-State place kicker.

His kicking coach, Chris Sailer, told scout.com: "Cody is simply an outstanding kicker. He has a strong leg, gets great lift on his ball, is mechanically sound, and has a great head on his shoulders. A definite Division 1-A scholarship pick."
